Resa is the proud owner of Action Physiotherapy and Wellness Clinic. She began as a physiotherapy aide in 2012 after finishing her Bachelor of Science degree. She graduated from the University of Manitoba with her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.
She is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and the College of Physiotherapists of Manitoba. She strives for life-long learning and has completed her first level of the CPA’s Diploma of Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Exams. She has also completed her acupuncture and dry needling certifications.
Resa has a passion for health promotion and physical activity. When she isn't at the clinic, she enjoys hiking and camping in the outdoors, running, playing soccer or spending time at the lake with her family (including her dog, Maggie).
She enjoys working with clients of all ages and looks forward to helping you make healthier, positive changes in your life.
Nicole Marier brings over 31 years of Physiotherapy experience with post-graduate training in advanced mobilization of the spine and peripheral joints, neural (nerve) mobilization and exercise training. She is also a certified acupuncturist.
With her Pilates certification and active Yogi lifestyle, Nicole bring Pilates and Yoga infused forms of healing to her practice. She encourages her patients to combine diet, exercise, and different physiotherapy techniques such as acupuncture, ultrasound, myofascial release, and neuromuscular proprioceptive training to enhance their healing ability and make positive changes within their lives.
Nicole is an energetic, positive and caring person whose characteristics reflect through every person she helps. Her passion for helping people if just one of the many reasons why Action Physiotherapy has been a successful business for so many years.
YVONNE DE CAIRE
Yvonne’s great passion is to help people recover from injury and get back to what they enjoy doing. She helps her clients find a healthy approach to healing and conditioning; or re-conditioning. Yvonne will help you to strengthen and balance your body so you can lead a complete whole active life.
Yvonne believes that no one single approach is right for everyone, she incorporates multiple techniques based on what is right for each client to help them achieve their goals.
Yvonne considers her primary role as that of an educator. She guides each client through techniques and exercises selected for their unique challenge. She spends the time to make sure the exercises are done properly and that they work for each client.
Yvonne’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Military Leadership and Applied Psychology from Royal Roads Military College in Victoria BC, Fitness Leadership Certification from Medicine Hat College, Bachelor of Medical Rehabilitation from University of Manitoba, Acupuncture for Physiotherapists: The Art and the Science and many other advanced acupuncture certificates, Core training, and myofascial release for the thoracic and pelvic girdle.

Rochelle has been practicing as a Registered Dietitian since 2012. From a young age, she knew that she wanted to work in health care. Her drive to help people live their best lives is something she prides herself on. She firmly believes that diet can play a huge role in making positive changes in one's life.
Prior to joining the team at Action Physiotherapy and Wellness Clinic, she worked with a community-based program called Healthy Start for Mom and Me as a Community Dietitian where she conduct food demos, provided nutritional assessments and facilitated discussions and presentations on a variety of topics related to maternal and child nutrition.
For over two years, Rochelle has been working with clients at Action Physiotherapy and Wellness Clinic to provide consultations on a wide variety of conditions. Rochelle believes in the team-based approach to diet and a healthy lifestyle. Rochelle will be there during your journey to health as part of your team.
Registered Massage Therapist
Sharon has a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Education from the University of Manitoba and received RMT training at Wellington College of Remedial Massage Therapy in Winnipeg in 2014.
She has a holistic, gentle approach to healing and has had training in Swedish massage, hot stone, aromatherapy, myofascial release, reflexology, lymphatic drainage techniques and cranial sacral therapy. More recently she obtained her Reiki level 1 in February 2017.
Outside of work Sharon enjoys playing golf, swimming and yoga. An avid animal lover, she volunteers at the Winnipeg Humane Society where she walks, helps in training and provides a soothing touch to her canine companions.
Sharon has enjoyed working with the multidisciplinary team at Action Physiotherapy since 2015. She looks forward to meeting new clients and helping them achieve their treatment goals in a relaxed and peaceful environment.

Certified Athletic Therapist
Janine graduated from the University of Manitoba in 2017 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology-Athletic Therapy. She received her certification from the Canadian Athletic Therapist Association in June 2018. During her time as a certification candidate, she applied her talents in the Bison Athletic Therapy Centre and worked with the Bison Women’s soccer team for 2 years. She continued to hone her skills as an active member of the Manitoba Athletic Therapy Association, providing her services for huge variety of athletes (football, basketball, hockey, ringette, and more) and sometimes even for those who come out to support.
Janine conducts thorough functional assessments in order to identify your condition and tailor the rehabilitation plan so that it best fits your individual needs. She incorporates the use of manual therapy and various modalities such as heat, ultrasound, and TENS as needed to deliver the highest quality of treatment. She believes in the power of an encouraging and positive mindset in order to facilitate an effective and motivated recovery.
In her personal life, Janine likes to spend time with family and friends. She likes to develop creative exercise programs that they can all do together at home, making the most of what equipment is available. She is passionate about promoting Athletic Therapy as a way for anyone and everyone to live their best and healthiest life.
Certified Athletic Therapist
Marvin graduated from the University of Manitoba with his degree in Kinesiology, specifically within the realm of Athletic Therapy in 2014. Through schooling, sporting events, and working with various teams within football, basketball, and rugby; he has continually applied what he has learned and experienced, eventually certifying as an Athletic Therapist in January 2017.
Marvin has the ability to assess and develop a client specific plan in order to help clients rehabilitate from their injuries, while looking at ways they can prevent further injuries as well. Marvin enjoys working with all types of athletes, from the professional and recreational athlete, to the weekend warrior, to the couch potato.
Marvin has a passion for health, sports, and science. With all this combined, he chose to pursue Athletic Therapy for as a long term career choice. He loves to learn and further grow his knowledge on ways to rehabilitate the human body to continually provide the best care to his clients. Marvin’s other interests include getting involved in various sports, working out, and reading books and listening to audios about self-development and personal growth.
Melyssa is our office manager and receptionist. She'll always remember your face and will greet you with a friendly smile. She prides herself on making sure appointments are running on time, that the clinic is safe, clean and that the ambience is warm and friendly.
In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and spending time with her daughter and her cats.
